Time for a 6-Day Colon Cleanse!

Now is the perfect time to embark on a cleansing program! Many people aim to do an intensive detox and/or cleanse once or twice per year. This gives you the opportunity to flush out toxins from your body and reset your health. Shoot for January and July, or the start and end of Daylight Savings Time, or any 6-month or year-long date intervals that you will easily remember — or just follow your body’s cues, and if you’re in tune with them, you will know when it’s time to do another cleanse. There are dozens and dozens of detox and cleanse programs to choose from, and we’ll discuss many of these cleanses and detoxes in the coming weeks and months. Today, we’ll review Global Healing Center’s Oxy Powder 6-day Complete Colon Cleanse.

This is a simple, easy to follow complete colon cleanse that doesn’t require you to take time off from work or other activities. GHC Oxy-Powder cleanses while you sleep, and the cleanse allows for some flexibility to suit your preferences and health needs. Some of the benefits of a complete colon cleanse include better digestion, more energy, ability to think more clearly, improved mood and feelings of wellbeing, glowing skin, and decreased risk of chronic, degenerative illnesses.

Who should do an Oxy Powder colon cleanse?

It is estimated that the average adult has 10-20 pounds or more of compacted fecal matter in the colon. How the Oxy Powder colon cleanse works

What you will need for the Oxy Powder colon cleanse:

  • 1 bottle of Latero-Flora
  • 4-6 gallons of purified water
  • 8oz of raw, organic apple cider vinegar
  • 3 lemons
  • Fresh fruit and healthy foods, organic if possible
  • Optional, for optimal results: 16oz aloe vera juice without added sugars

Colon Cleansing Cocktail

Mix up this drink and aim to consume half your body weight (in ounces) each of the six days of the cleanse. For example, if you weigh 180 pounds, you would drink 90 ounces of the Colon Cleansing Cocktail a day. Add the juice of half a lemon, 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, and 2 ounces of aloe vera juice (if desired) to one gallon of purified water. Keep refrigerated, and mix up additional batches as needed.

The 6-Day Oxy Powder Complete Colon Cleanse diet

You can choose to eat a clean, organic, whole foods diet, or follow a fruit-only diet for a more intensive cleanse. The fruit-only diet provides optimal cleansing benefits, but is not necessary for the average healthy person unless you’re aiming for a more advanced cleansing.

If you are following the fruit-only diet, you may eat as often and as much as you’d like. Eat only one type of fruit per meal, but aim for variety throughout the day. Choices include (but are not limited to) apples, bananas, avocados, berries, oranges, watermelon, and avocados.

If you are following a regular healthy diet, shoot for 5 small meals a day. Include lots of fruits, salads, raw nuts and seeds, and vegetable soups. Avoid red meat and consume only one portion of chicken or fish every other day at lunch. Chew each bite well, 25 times or until liquefied. Avoid dairy, gluten, soy, salt, added sugars or artificial sweeteners, and alcohol.

The daily Oxy Powder cleanse instructions

Follow these Oxy Powder cleanse instructions each day for 6 days:

  • First thing in the morning, mix up your Colon Cleansing Cocktail and drink 12-20 ounces. Repeat the mantra, “I am clean and healthy,” 9 times.
  • Twenty minutes before breakfast, take 3 capsules of Latero-Flora. Eat breakfast (following your chosen diet guidelines from above), drink 12-20 ounces of the Cocktail, and repeat the mantra, “I am clean and healthy,” 9 times.
  • Around mid-morning, have a snack and 12-20 more ounces of the Cocktail. Repeat the mantra 9 times. At lunch and again at mid-afternoon, eat, drink the Colon Cleansing Cocktail, and repeat the affirmation 9 times. Do the same at dinner time.
  • Before bed, repeat the “I am clean and healthy” affirmation again 9 times, and take 6 capsules of Oxy Powder along with 8 ounces of the Colon Cleansing Cocktail.

A few tips:

Your goal is to produce 3-5 bowel movements each day. If you aren’t achieving this many, take an additional 2 capsules of Oxy Powder each night. If you produce more than 5 bowel movements, reduce your dose by 2 capsules. The number of Oxy Powder capsules needed to produce 3-5 bowel movements the next day can range from 4 to 10 capsules per night, on average.

Stools will become watery, soft, and easy to pass. This is a normal result of the solid waste and compacted fecal matter becoming liquefied by Oxy Powder. This is different from the diarrhea caused by infection or laxative use, and is not harmful, will not cause dehydration, and will not lead to electrolyte imbalance. If you experience slight abdominal cramping, particularly if this is your first cleanse, this is also normal. Drink 8 ounces of purified water and walk around for 15 minutes to relieve the cramps. Cramping should subside by day 3 of the cleanse.

Maintaining a clean colon with Oxy Powder

Keep your digestive tract clean, give your body a consistent supply of oxygen, and prevent the absorption of toxins by following a clean colon maintenance plan. Global Healing Center recommends taking Oxy Powder on a maintenance basis 2-3 times a week, or as needed. The number of capsules you take should equal the number you used for your 6-day cleanse. You want to take enough capsules to produce 3-5 bowel movements the following day. Unlike laxatives and some herbal preparations, Oxy Powder is non-habit-forming and safe to take continuously.
